Our 2026 Spring hike-in to Taum Sauk, Missouri’s highest point with Missouri’s tallest waterfall. We saw the Adventurers mentoring new Navigators and enjoyed some of the best camping weather. In this episode we’re sharing our planning, stories, and takeaways.

Meal Plan
Here is the meal plan sheet we hand out to patrols for a 3 day, 2 night campout. We find that it is important to validate Navigators have recorded who will bring each item and hand out copies of the filled out sheet to everyone coming on the campout. Even then, it’s good to talk through it with them, so you can answer questions as they come in, mostly having to do with handwriting.
